Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed once payment is received. Prices vary by room and season. Additional services may incur extra charges.

Check‑in / Check‑out

  • Check‑in: from 16:00

  • Check‑out: by 10:00
    We appreciate your cooperation — these times allow us to prepare the finca properly for all guests.

Cancellation Policy
Full details are provided at the time of booking. Refunds, if applicable, are processed to the original payment method.

Use of the Property
Guests agree to respect the finca, its animals, and its surroundings. Only registered guests may stay overnight. Events or gatherings require prior approval.

Liability
Barkala Mula is not responsible for:

  • Loss of personal belongings

  • Injuries resulting from misuse of facilities or natural terrain

  • Weather‑related disruptions

Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused during their stay.


Guest Registration (Spanish Government Requirements)

Spanish law requires all accommodation providers to register guest details with the authorities (Guardia Civil / Policía Nacional).

Required information
For each guest aged 16 or over:

  • Full name

  • Passport or national ID number

  • Date of birth

  • Nationality

  • Date of arrival

Registration process

  1. Before arrival, you will receive a secure link to complete your registration.

  2. You will upload a photo of your passport/ID and confirm your details.

  3. Upon arrival, we may verify your ID.

  4. You are required to submit this registration information to the authorities prior to check‑in. (Consequently, check-in may be refused until this is completed).

Data protection
Your information is transmitted securely and stored only for the legally required period.


Guest Behaviour Expectations

Barkala Mula is a calm, rural finca. To preserve the environment and ensure a positive experience for all guests, we ask for the following:

Respect for the finca

  • Treat the property, gardens, and shared spaces with care.

  • Keep noise to a considerate level, especially between 23:00 and 08:00.

Respect for animals

  • Do not feed or enter enclosures.

  • Move calmly around the donkeys, sheep, geese, chickens, cat and dog.

Respect for nature

  • Rural Mallorca includes insects, wildlife, uneven terrain, and occasional snakes.

Shared spaces

  • Clean up after using the kitchen or communal areas.

  • Use the pool umbrellas responsibly and close them when not in use.

Safety

  • Do not drive into the household area due to the underground cistern.

  • Follow any guidance provided by the hosts.

  • Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas due to fire risk. Please refrain from smoking around other guests - especially when they are eating.

Eco‑friendly practices

  • Turn off air‑conditioning and lights when not in use.

  • Use water responsibly.

  • Separate recyclables for collection.
